Twilight Series Complete

This is the 4th and final book of the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn.

I must disagree with Jana and Jenny's critique that this book was just "so-so". I was so relieved to get another perspective in the story. The twist of Bella and Jacob's connection was great. I just love Alice, too. I think she is my favorite character. I think I knew someone like her in college (sans the whole vampire thing).

I think I could have been happy with a combined & condensed version of New Moon and Eclipse. They have a lot of great plot and character stuff, but there was so much repetition it felt tedious.

Kudos to Jana and Jenny for motivating me to read the entire series. Especially since each book was 500+ pages!
Meanwhile, there are only 20 days left until the long awaited release of Cycle 3 in the Inheritance series. I think this is the first time I've ever Pre-Ordered a book :)

Busted!

It was funny. I wasn't mad at her for eating the rest of the pork tenderloin... I was afraid she was going to cut her tongue on the knife!

Promises, Promises...

Well, here are the latest pictures of the house. This is what is looks like as you drive up.

It is so exciting to have the roof! I really like the dormer, too.

I am most excited about my future kitchen! When you visit, you can belly up to the bar and tell me what you would like.

Living room...Yay, stairs!

We have most of the windows installed, and the doors arrived (finally). So, hopefully we will have all the windows and doors installed by the end of next week!

In the last couple of weeks, the roof shingles were put on, some windows installed, and the framer has put on the shake and (almost) finished the interior framing. It was great to have the plumber and HVAC guys come and start roughing in their stuff. There is nothing like seeing the hole where the toilet will go. :) It is now getting to the point where I have to really decide what I want in the house. The next major decision is WHAT COLOR WILL THE HOUSE BE???? This may call for a polling....hmmm....

FINISHED #2

Geez... I was talking about the second book of the "Twilight" series!!!

I just finished "New Moon". I have to admit, I struggled to stay with it at first, but then I fell for Jacob. I like being warm. I hate being cold. That is all I'm gonna say.

I'm not sure what "Eclipse" has in store for me, but I'm going to find out!

I PROMISE, I am going to have new house pics this weekend!

Sweet!

To all those people who are finding me via "Google" whilst trying to find the most awesome Sonic commercial:

Thanks for checking out my blog!

FINISHED!

Well, I have jumped on the "Twilight" bandwagon and enjoyed every minute of it! I will now need to go purchase the next three books, but I think I need a break from the "smoldering, topaz eyes" of Edward. I will probably read something else before moving on to "New Moon." My aunt gave me a Mary Higgins Clark novel, so I may give it a try. :)

School starts soon, and if I don't finish the "Twilight" series by Sept. 20, it will be put aside for the LONG awaited "Brisingr", Cycle 3 in the Inheritance series. It was supposed to be a trilogy, but Paolini could not fit everything into only one book.

NEW HOUSE PICTURES COMING SOON! A lot happened while I was at "camp"!

Worth 1,000 words...

Walking down Peachtree St. in Atlanta

This is my grandparents' wedding photo. They don't make them like they used to.
